RV Fire Causes Traffic Congestion on State Route 2

A small RV fire on State Route 2 near Wakeman/Vermillion caused significant traffic congestion on Sunday, June 2. The incident occurred in the westbound slow lane, leading to a half-mile traffic backup as police and fire departments responded to the scene.

The fire was reported around midday, with witnesses noting thick black smoke and flames engulfing the RV. Emergency responders quickly arrived to manage the situation and ensure the safety of motorists. Police and fire personnel worked diligently to extinguish the fire and clear the area.
