Garfield Heights Education Foundation Hosts Golf Outing to Support Local Schools

Garfield Heights, OH – The Garfield Heights Education Foundation (GHEF) is excited to announce its annual Golf Outing fundraiser, set to take place on Friday, August 2, 2024, at the picturesque Shawnee Hills Golf Course located within Bedford Metroparks. This highly anticipated event aims to gather the community in support of Garfield Heights City Schools students.

Participants in the golf outing can look forward to a full day of activities, beginning with a continental breakfast, followed by lunch, and culminating in a delicious BBQ buffet. In addition to the gourmet meals, the event will feature a variety of beverages to keep players refreshed throughout the day.

The event is designed to offer fun and excitement beyond the golf course. Attendees can participate in a 50/50 raffle, a ball drop, mulligans, skins, and other engaging activities. These additional attractions provide ample opportunities for participants to contribute to the fundraiser while enjoying a lively and sociable atmosphere.

Registration for the Golf Outing opened on April 12th and closed on July 2nd. The event has seen robust interest, reflecting the community’s strong support for educational initiatives. Individual registration is priced at $120, while a group of four can register for $480. Interested parties were encouraged to scan the provided QR code to streamline the registration process.

The funds raised from this event will directly benefit the Garfield Heights City Schools students by supporting various educational programs and initiatives.
