Romeo’s Pizza has suddenly closed its Northfield Center location, catching many local customers by surprise. The pizzeria, located at 134 East Aurora Road, has been a staple for many residents in the area.
The closure was confirmed by an official notice from Romeo’s Pizza stating: “We regret to inform our loyal Romeo’s Pizza customers that our Northfield location has closed. We apologize for any inconvenience, but you can still get your Romeo’s Pizza favorites from our Twinsburg, Broadview Heights and several other local locations.”

When I spoke to current tenants in the same shopping plaza, they expressed confusion about the closure, indicating they had no information about why the restaurant had shut down.
The closure appears to have happened with little warning. Multiple customers have reportedly arrived to pick up their orders only to discover the restaurant is no longer operating. This has led to confusion and disappointment among regular patrons did not know about the closure before placing their orders.
Romeo’s management has not provided any specific reasons for the closure at this time. Customers looking for Romeo’s Pizza are being directed to their other nearby locations in Twinsburg and Broadview Heights.
The Northfield Center location had been serving the community with their signature sweet sauce pizza and other Italian favorites, including their popular garlic Parmesan chicken wings. It remains unclear whether there are plans for another restaurant to take over the space.
