  • Jan. 23 — A police report was filed after a local private school reported approximately $5,000 in unauthorized charges on its business account. Report filed.
  • Jan. 27 — An officer assisted a resident in the Daisy’s Wood area after they were locked out of their home, helping with re-entry.
  • Jan. 27 — Officers assisted with six disabled vehicles around the village due to inclement weather.
  • Jan. 28 — Police responded to a wellness check requested by a family concerned about an older resident in the Old Mill area who had not been reachable for several days. Officers made contact and determined the resident was okay; the resident indicated they would contact family.
  • Jan. 31 — The traffic signal at Mayfield Road and Chagrin River Road malfunctioned throughout the evening. Signal Service was contacted and repairs were completed.
  • Feb. 1 — An Amazon delivery driver became stuck in a driveway on Fox Hill Drive. An officer assisted in getting the vehicle removed.
