Officers responded to a telecommunications fraud case on Woodbury Oval on June 16, which was subsequently closed. This follows an earlier list of fraud reports from the prior weeks, including identity fraud on Westview Lane , theft by deception on Kent Road , and an ongoing investigation into an embezzlement case on Hibbard Drive dating back to 2022. OVI Arrests Executed by Traffic Enforcement Officers The Stow Police Department removed multiple impaired drivers from local roadways, recording operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI/DUI) arrests over a two-week span. Early on June 19, an officer initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Hudson Drive and Heron Springs Parkway, resulting in an OVI arrest. This follows several traffic stops from the previous weekend, which included an OVI stop at Ritchie Road and Darrow Road where open containers were discovered , and another arrest where the driver refused chemical testing despite a previous conviction within the past 20 years. Public Safety Incidents Requiring Police Intervention Beyond retail thefts and traffic stops, officers were called to manage unpredictable domestic conflicts, drug offenses, and public disturbances. Police executed a pursuit arrest on June 18 at Kent Road and Darrow Road after a motorist failed to comply with an officer's lawful order or signal. Later that evening, an arrest was made for possession of drug paraphernalia at Graham Road and Sanford Avenue.
