Stow Police Blotter: DUI Arrests, Thefts and a Stalking Warrant Fill This Week's Log

See this week's Stow police log, including theft, disorderly conduct, domestic incidents and three separate DUI arrests.

Stow police released their weekly incident log covering June 29 through July 6, 2026. The report lists 41 total cases spanning theft, disorderly conduct, domestic incidents and traffic related arrests. As always, names and house numbers are withheld in this report. Burglary A burglary was reported on Leewood Road on June 30. The case has since been closed. Narcotics and Drug Violations An arrest for drug abuse was made on Kent Road on June 30 following a narcotics investigation. Assault Two simple assault cases were logged during the week. The first occurred on Fishcreek Road on June 30. A second was reported on L'Ermitage Place on July 4 and has been closed. Theft and Larceny Theft remained the most common complaint type in this week's log. Cases were reported on Oak Road, Colony Park Place and Hiwood Avenue on July 1. Two additional shoplifting incidents that same day, on Fishcreek Road and Kent Road, resulted in arrests. Further thefts were logged on Hampshire Road on July 2, and on Fishcreek Road, Stow Road and Hudson Drive on July 3, the last of which led to an arrest. Closed cases included a theft from a motor vehicle on Colony Park Place, along with incidents on Wyndham Ridge Drive on July 4 and Kent Road that same day. Disorderly Conduct Multiple disorderly conduct calls came from Maplehurst Drive on July 1. Additional reports came from Hudson Drive on July 3, which was closed, and Kent Road the same day, which resulted in an arrest. A final disorderly conduct arrest was made on Fishcreek Road on July 5. Domestic Incidents A domestic incident on Arndale Road on July 2 is pending prosecution. A second domestic incident on Hiwood Avenue on July 5 has been closed. Criminal Damage and Menacing Criminal damage was reported on Maplehurst Drive on July 2. That same day, a warrant was issued in an aggravated menacing case tied to a stalking complaint on Fishcreek Road. Harassment A harassment complaint on Villas Drive was closed on July 2. A telecommunications harassment case on Arndale Road was closed on July 3. Extortion, Fraud and Trespass An extortion and blackmail complaint was filed on Uniondale Drive on July 3. A fraud case on Fishcreek Road remains open as of July 6. A trespassing complaint on Graham Road in Cuyahoga Falls was closed on July 3. Juvenile Complaints Two juvenile complaints resulted in arrests. The first came from Deercrest Path on July 1. The second was reported on Darrow Road on July 6. OVI, Liquor and Weapons Violations Traffic and alcohol related arrests were common in the back half of the reporting week. An OVI case was reported on East Steels Corners Road on July 5, followed by a second OVI case at Fairchild Avenue and Fieldstone Drive in Kent that was later closed. A liquor law violation arrest happened near Norton Road and Darrow Road on July 5. Officers made a weapons law violation arrest that same night. A third OVI arrest followed near Kent Road and Fishcreek Road on July 6. Other Incidents An animal complaint was logged on Hudson Drive on July 2. Fireworks were reported on Klein Avenue on July 4 and the case has been closed. A personnel complaint on Darrow Road was closed the same day. A separate "all others" case dated June 29 was recorded on Darrow Road.
