Ravenna police released a booking report covering July 7–20 that lists arrests and citations tied to domestic violence, drug possession, protection-order violations and impaired driving; the report also notes that several juveniles were taken into custody during that period. Nearby, a three-week review of Stow police activity shows a similar mix: domestic violence arrests, OVI charges, drug-related arrests and two separate vehicle pursuits. Taken together, the reports underline ongoing enforcement around family violence and impaired driving across our suburbs. On the community front, Stow’s cherished Angel of Hope Children’s Memorial at Silver Springs Cemetery is scheduled for refurbishment beginning July 27. Work will include new landscaping and sidewalks around the Christmas Box Angel statue, a welcome refresh for families who visit the memorial in Stow-Munroe Falls.
