The department recommends several alternatives for those planning to drink: • Have a designated driver • Call a cab or use a rideshare service • Stay at your home or a hotel • Call a sober friend or family member for a ride The Solon Police Department operates as part of the Cuyahoga County Law Enforcement Task Force, a coalition of 45 law enforcement agencies working together to combat impaired and aggressive driving throughout the county.
