Body Located in Wooded Area Off Mayfair Road in Green

A 32‑year‑old man was found dead in a wooded area off Mayfair Road in the City of Green Wednesday afternoon, according to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office. Officials said deputies were notified around 4:50 p.m. Nov. 19 about a body discovered in the woods near Mayfair Road. Patrol deputies, detectives and the Sheriff’s Major Crime Scene Unit responded to the area and located the man. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The case remains under investigation by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau. At this time, investigators say foul play is not suspected. The man’s identity and additional details about the circumstances surrounding his death had not been released as of press time.
