Stow Police Report Shows Theft, Fraud And OVI Arrests

The Stow Police Department has released its weekly report log for Stow, Ohio, covering incidents from July 25 through August 3. The report lists 48 cases ranging from theft and fraud to protection order violations and OVI arrests. Below is a breakdown by category. Theft And Larceny Kent Road was the site of repeated shoplifting reports throughout the week. Officers made arrests connected to shoplifting on Kent Road on July 28, July 29, August 1 and August 2. A separate shoplifting case on Kent Road from August 1 was closed without an arrest listed, and another from August 2 remains under investigation. A theft without consent was reported on Wrens Drive South, though the incident occurred back on June 10. A warrant was issued in a theft case on Hudson Drive on July 30. Investigators are still working a theft case reported on Englewood Drive on July 31. A criminal trespass and shoplifting case on Kent Road from July 31 was closed. On August 1, a theft listed as theft all other was closed following a report on Lillian Road. Fraud And Identity Theft Several fraud cases involved identity theft. Telecommunications fraud and identity fraud were reported on Litchfield Loop on July 28. Identity fraud cases were also reported on Maplewood Road on July 29 and Hammontree Circle on July 30. A telecommunications fraud case on Garnet Circle from July 30 was closed. An open fraud case on Ridgeline Trail was reported July 31, and another fraud report came in from Mac Drive on August 3. Protection Order Violations Violation of a protection order led to an arrest on July 28 in Stow. A temporary protection order violation was reported on Maplehurst Drive the same day. A warrant was issued for a protection order violation on Darrow Road on July 28. The following day, an arrest was made on Darrow Road tied to a warrant from another agency for a protection order violation. Narcotics And Drug Cases A narcotics case was reported on Courthouse Boulevard on July 31. That same day, a runaway case was logged under narcotics and drug laws on Fishcreek Road. An arrest was made near the intersection of Graham Road and Hudson Drive on July 31 involving a juvenile cigarette or tobacco violation along with possession of marijuana. Disorderly Conduct And Intoxication Disorderly conduct tied to intoxication was reported on Fishcreek Road on July 31 and closed. A similar case on Kent Road was closed on August 1. Another disorderly conduct and intoxication arrest was made on Kent Road on August 2. OVI And DUI Arrests Two OVI arrests were made during the week.
