That design mirrors the jungle themed entrances Rainforest Car Wash has used at its other Northeast Ohio locations, where rock walls, waterfalls and animatronic animals have long been part of the brand's identity. Fencing currently surrounds the property, and equipment including a dumpster and paving machinery point to active construction. Neither an opening date nor a formal street address has been confirmed publicly at this time. Where this fits in the bigger picture Bainbridge Township has been one of the busiest development corridors in the region lately. Meijer opened a 159,000 square foot supercenter this spring at 7300 Aurora Road, built on part of the former Geauga Lake amusement park site in the township. Company officials described that opening as part of a broader effort to bring new retail back to a stretch of Route 43 that had sat mostly vacant since the park closed in 2007. Rainforest Car Wash has deep roots in Northeast Ohio, having opened its first location in Cleveland in 2010. Growth for the brand has not been a straight line in recent years. In 2024, Whistle Express Car Wash acquired and rebranded five of Rainforest's six Ohio locations, leaving Mentor as the only site still carrying the Rainforest name at that time. A new build under the Rainforest banner in Bainbridge Township would mark a fresh addition to the brand's Northeast Ohio footprint.
