About the Author Koile is a Northeast Ohio based author who writes about Ohio history, Ohio true crime, and the mysteries of Lake Erie. Her past titles include "Love, Lies and Murder in Northern Ohio," "Lake Erie Murder and Mayhem," a book on disasters in Ohio's Lake Erie islands, and "Legends and Lost Treasure of Northern Ohio." Outside of writing, Koile works full time as an instructional designer at a local community college and also teaches English composition part time. She holds a master's degree in teaching and a master's degree in English. She began writing her first book in 2010 after realizing she could combine her love of reading and writing with her interest in history.
