The county's Division of Building Standards is rolling out a new platform called GovWell beginning Monday, September 28. The switch is part of a broader push by the county to speed up permitting and give applicants a clearer view of where their requests stand. County officials expect the consolidated approach to cut down on phone calls and paperwork. Old system winding down The county's outgoing portal, CityWorks, will not be shut off entirely. It will remain online for permits and inspections already underway, but it stops accepting new applications after Friday, September 25.
