Motorcycle Crash in Green Under Investigation by Summit County Sheriff

A motorcycle rider was ejected after striking a Ford Explorer making a left turn on South Arlington Road. The crash remains under investigation.
On April 7, 2026, at approximately 7:10 p.m., the Summit County Sheriff's Office responded to a crash on South Arlington Road in the City of Green. A 2021 Ford Explorer was travelling northbound on South Arlington Road and attempted to turn left into an apartment complex. A 2007 Yamaha motorcycle travelling southbound on South Arlington Road struck the passenger's side of the Ford Explorer as it was making the turn. The motorcycle rider was subsequently ejected from the motorcycle. The motorcycle rider was identified as a 26-year-old male from the City of Green. The driver of the Ford did not suffer any serious injuries. The motorcycle rider was wearing a helmet. The crash remains under investigation by the Summit Metro Crash Response Team.
