Hudson Ribbon Cutting Welcomes New Fetch! Pet Care Franchise to Northeast Ohio

A new pet care business is now open in Northeast Ohio. Fetch! Pet Care of The Western Reserve marked its grand opening with a Hudson Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting on Thursday, Oct. 29. Owner Regina Alvarez is 25 years old. Even so, she brings more than 11 years of pet sitting experience to the woman-owned business. The celebration was held in downtown Hudson in front of 3 Palms and Cold Stone Creamery. It kicked off just before the community’s Merchant Trick or Treat event, which started at 5 p.m. Where the Business Operates Fetch! Pet Care of The Western Reserve serves families in Hudson, Aurora, Twinsburg and the Chagrin area. Pets are cared for in their own homes, with support from a mobile app. A Career Built on Experience Alvarez earned a degree in early childhood education from Kent State University. Over time, her lifelong love of animals grew into a career. Caring for pets owned by friends and family was her starting point. She later worked at a dog boarding and day care facility, where she gained hands-on experience. At home, Alvarez has four dogs. Her experience as a dog owner adds to her understanding of canine behavior and the unique care needs of each pet. “My goal is to give every pet owner peace of mind, knowing their furry family members are being treated with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own four dogs,” Alvarez said.
