Suspicious Activity Oct. 26: Drone Over a Fox Hill Property An officer went to a Fox Hill residence to speak with a homeowner who reported a drone flying over his property. Police learned a land surveyor was working at a nearby house and taking photos. The situation checked OK. Oct. 28: Unknown Vehicle Spotted on Remote Camera A Hawthorne Farms resident who was out of town reported seeing an unknown vehicle in his driveway on a remote camera. The vehicle was gone by the time an officer arrived. The officer found the exterior of the house secure. Traffic and Roadway Incidents Oct. 26: Car Strikes Deer on Mayfield Road A car and deer accident was reported in the 7800 block of Mayfield Road. No report was taken, but the incident was documented. Oct. 28: Child Seen Halfway Out an SUV Window A motorist reported an SUV traveling westbound on Brigham Road from County Line Road. According to the caller, a young child in the front seat appeared to be halfway out the window drinking from a bottle. Officers checked the area but could not locate the vehicle. Oct. 29: Crash Detection Alert at Sherman and County Line Officers responded to Sherman and County Line after a motor vehicle crash detection alert came in. They checked the area and found no accident. Oct. 29: Tailgating Driver Flips Off Motorist A motorist reported a female driver tailgating him on Gates Mills Boulevard while flipping him the bird. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the driver. The incident was documented.
