Akron City Council has extended the application deadline for vacant seats on the Citizens' Police Oversight Board to April 15, 2026. Residents from all 10 wards are encouraged to apply.

Completed applications, along with a current resume if available, should be emailed to citizenoversight@akronohio.gov . Paper copies can also be picked up at City Hall, Room 301, Akron . Prior applicants do not need to reapply. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
