SAGAMORE HILLS, Ohio – The Sagamore Hills Police Department recently investigated a report of ongoing telecommunications harassment and conducted a late-night traffic stop that led to the arrest of a man on an outstanding warrant. These incidents, occurring between April 9 and April 12, 2026, resulted in the seizure of numerous drug-related items, including dozens of syringes and drug testing kits. Telecommunications Harassment Report on Springledge Road On the afternoon of Friday, April 10, 2026, a resident from the block of Springledge Road visited the Sagamore Hills Police Station to formally report telecommunications harassment . The victim informed Ptl. William Ryan and Christopher Danko that the incidents had been occurring since the previous day, April 9 . According to the Incident/Offense Report 26-00091, the case is classified under Ohio Revised Code 2917.21 . The police gathered initial information regarding the nature of the harassment at the residential location, though the investigation remains ongoing . Warrant Arrest and Drug Paraphernalia Seizure on Route 82 In a separate incident early Sunday morning, April 12, 2026, Sagamore Hills officers conducted a stop on Route 82 near the Brentwood Reserve area . During the encounter, which began at approximately 1:12 a.m., officers identified a male subject with an active outstanding warrant . The man was driving a black 2006 Toyota with Ohio license plates, which was subsequently towed from the scene . Inventory of Seized Items and Telecommunications Harassment Context During the arrest on Route 82, Ptl. William Ryan, Chris Salveter, and Paul Gramlich discovered a large quantity of suspected drug paraphernalia within the vehicle . The recovery of these items is a critical component of the department’s efforts to curb illegal substance use in the Nordonia Hills area. The seized property included: 46 Syringes : 12 open syringes containing an unknown residue and 34 closed syringes . 40 Syringe Caps : Several of which also contained unknown residue . 7 Cut Straws : Found with unknown residue inside . 3 Drug Testing Kits : Specifically labeled for testing Xylazine and Fentanyl . 4 Adderall Pills : Listed as stolen or lost property . Miscellaneous Items : A baggie, a Q-tip, and a plastic orange cap . The suspect in the warrant arrest was processed for the outstanding warrant under Ohio Revised Code 2935.11 .
