False Alarm and Prank Call Investigation on Longview Drive Solon officers were dispatched to a home on Longview Drive on April 19 after receiving a call on a non-emergency line. Dispatchers noted hearing two young people laughing while making a false report of a serious crime. The callers used vulgar language and made crude comments before hanging up. Upon arrival, officers determined the home was vacant and no emergency existed. The incident is being treated as a prank that caused a routine police response, and an investigation into the source of the call is ongoing.
