Nordonia Varsity Knights Baseball Clings to Victory MACEDONIA, Ohio – The Nordonia Varsity Knights baseball team established an early five-run lead and successfully repelled a late-inning surge by the Hudson Explorers to win 5-3. Starting pitcher Canzoni was the catalyst for the victory, delivering six scoreless innings while striking out six batters and allowing only three hits. The Knights’ offense was sparked early by a sacrifice fly from Nealon in the first inning, followed by a productive third inning where Nealon doubled and Kaminski singled to extend the lead. Kaminski finished the day 2-for-3 with a team-high three RBIs. Defensively, the Knights were flawless, recording zero errors to maintain their advantage through a tense seventh-inning relief appearance by Leitner.
