The Lady Knights softball team secured a massive 23-3 blowout victory over the Firestone Varsity Falcons, fueled by an offensive explosion. Conversely, the Nordonia baseball team displayed strong hitting with seven total hits but ultimately suffered an 8-2 loss to the Hudson Varsity Explorers following a difficult sixth inning. Both teams are now preparing for upcoming home challenges against Stow-Munroe Falls. Lady Knights Dominate Firestone with Nordonia Varsity Knights Offensive Surge The Nordonia Varsity Lady Knights put on a masterclass in offensive efficiency during their 23-3 win over Firestone. The Nordonia Varsity Knights offensive surge was led by Ritchie, who drove in six runs on four hits, including a crucial two-run double in the second inning. After falling behind 3-0 in the first, the Lady Knights responded with eight runs in the bottom of the frame and an 11-run outburst in the second. Pitcher Lambes earned the win, striking out eight batters over five innings while allowing only three runs.
