The Nordonia Varsity Knights baseball team captured a dramatic 5-4 victory over the Midview Varsity Middies on Tuesday, while the Nordonia Varsity Lady Knights softball team split their back-to-back performances, bouncing back from an 11-1 postseason loss against the Avon Varsity Eagles on Tuesday to crush Stow-Munroe Falls 8-4 on Wednesday. Avon established dominance early in the bottom of the first inning with a solo home run from Jocelin Ochs and an RBI double by Michaela Jankowski. The Eagles added five runs in the second inning and three more in the third to pull away. Haylie Lambes took the loss for Nordonia, pitching two innings and allowing nine runs on eight hits.
