The Stow Police Department released its weekly report log on March 24, 2026, detailing a wide array of criminal activity and service calls ranging from shoplifting and telecommunications fraud to weapons violations on school premises. This latest police report highlights 40 total records, including several arrests related to domestic violence, disorderly conduct, and narcotics possession throughout the city. Key areas of activity included major thoroughfares like Kent Road and Graham Road, as well as various residential neighborhoods where officers responded to reports of assault and identity theft. Theft and Larceny Dominates Weekly Police Report Multiple incidents of theft were documented across the city, frequently involving shoplifting at commercial locations. On March 17, officers responded to a shoplifting call on Kent Road, resulting in an arrest. Another warrant was issued later that day for a separate theft incident at a different Kent Road address. Residential thefts were also noted, including a report on Progress Park Drive and a "theft without consent" on Oneida Street on March 19. Fraud and Identity Theft Investigations Telecommunications and identity fraud were prevalent in the police report this week. Investigators are looking into a case of identity fraud on Moreland Avenue where a suspect allegedly represented another person's information as their own. Additionally, several cases of telecommunications fraud were reported on Darrow Road, Mallory Lane, Lake Run Boulevard, and Arndale Road between March 19 and March 23. Weapons Violations and Juvenile Complaints The department handled a serious weapons law violation on March 18 involving the illegal conveyance or possession of weapons on school premises at an address on Graham Road. This incident led to an arrest and was accompanied by charges related to juvenile tobacco use and drug possession. Other juvenile-related calls included reports of "unruly" behavior on Bridgewater Parkway and multiple tobacco-related arrests on Graham Road throughout the week. Violent Crimes and Domestic Incidents Officers addressed several reports of physical violence, including a domestic violence arrest on Hile Road where a suspect was charged with knowingly causing physical harm. Another domestic incident occurred on Lorwood Drive on March 17, also resulting in an arrest. Simple and aggravated assault cases were reported on Celia Drive and Allen Road, respectively, while two separate sex offense investigations involving rape and gross sexual imposition remain pending.
