STOW, Ohio – The Stow Police Department released its weekly report log on March 10, 2026, detailing 32 total records of police activity throughout the city. Key enforcement actions included multiple arrests for narcotics possession, investigations into fraud and identity theft, and citations for operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI). This report covers incidents occurring between late February and early March 2026. Narcotics and Drug Law Violations Narcotics enforcement remained a high priority for the Stow Police Department, with several arrests made for the possession of controlled substances. On March 3, 2026, officers responded to a location on Graham Road and arrested an individual for possession of a Schedule I or II substance. A few days later, on March 4, another narcotics-related arrest occurred near SR 8 and Graham Road involving the possession of cocaine and illegal drug paraphernalia. Investigations also led to charges for more serious drug offenses. A case from late January 2026 was closed on March 5, involving trafficking in drugs—specifically the sale or offer to sell—at a residence on Orchard Drive. Additionally, a warrant service on March 7 at a location on Hudson Drive resulted in a pending prosecution for possession of Schedule I or II drugs. Theft, Fraud, and Financial Crimes The department addressed several reports of shoplifting and financial fraud during this period. Retail locations on Kent Road were frequent sites for theft investigations: Theft without Consent: An arrest was made on March 3 following a theft at a business in the 4200 block of Kent Road. Shoplifting: Additional shoplifting arrests occurred on March 4 and March 7 at various Kent Road retail locations. Bad Checks and Fraud: Officers investigated a case of passing bad checks on Chesterland Boulevard on February 27. On March 7, police handled a telecommunications fraud report on Red Willow Road and an identity fraud case on Lake Point Court where a suspect allegedly used another person's information as their own. OVI and Public Safety Enforcement Stow officers conducted several traffic stops that resulted in OVI/DUI arrests. Late on March 6, an individual was arrested at the intersection of Commerce Drive and Hudson Drive for operating a vehicle under the influence and driving in marked lanes. The report noted the suspect's breath test result was greater than .08. A similar incident occurred early the following morning on March 7, where a driver was arrested for an OVI after failing to stay within marked lanes; this individual also recorded a breath test result over .08. On March 8, another OVI-related case was marked as pending prosecution following an incident on Norton Road. Domestic and Juvenile Incidents Officers responded to several calls involving domestic violence and juvenile concerns. A domestic violence arrest was made on March 4 on Kent Road for knowingly causing physical harm. Another domestic incident on Chatwood Drive was closed on March 7. The department also managed multiple juvenile complaints on Graham Road. These included a March 4 arrest for a juvenile being unruly and truant from school, as well as a March 3 report of a disobedient juvenile. Two additional truancy arrests were recorded on the morning of March 5 at the same Graham Road location.
