Stow Police responded to 38 incidents in mid-January, including shoplifting arrests, drug charges, domestic violence, and serious crimes.

STOW, Ohio – Stow Police Department responded to 38 incidents during the week ending January 20, 2026, including multiple arrests for shoplifting, drug-related offenses, and domestic violence. Retail Theft Dominates Weekly Report Shoplifting incidents dominated the police blotter with multiple arrests at retail locations on Kent Road. An arrest was made on January 13 for theft/larceny at a Kent Road retail location. A theft/larceny incident was also reported on January 13 on Graham Road. On January 14, a theft/larceny case involving motor vehicle parts or accessories was reported on Pardee Road. An arrest for shoplifting followed on January 14 at a Kent Road retail location. A warrant was issued on January 14 for theft/larceny on Kent Road. On January 15, a warrant was issued for another shoplifting incident at a Kent Road retail location. A closed shoplifting case was documented on January 15 on Hudson Drive. Additional theft/larceny incidents were reported on January 15 on Kent Road and January 16 on Steels Point. A closed theft/larceny case was also documented on January 16 on Kent Road. On January 20, a theft/larceny incident was reported on Kent Road. Early Week Incidents The week began with a disorderly conduct and intoxication case on January 13 at Hiwood Avenue and Echo Road, which was closed. A telecommunications harassment case was reported on January 14 on Kent Road. A juvenile complaint for truancy was closed on January 14 on Fishcreek Road. Serious Crimes Reported A suicide case was reported on January 14 on Norman Drive. A missing person report was filed on January 15 on Bridgewater Parkway. A sex offense case involving rape with force or threat was reported on January 14 on Osage Street. Another sex offense case with investigation pending was reported on January 15 on Lakepoint Corporate Drive. Property Crimes and Trespass Criminal trespass cases were reported on January 12 on Hidden Lake Drive and January 15 on Graham Road. Criminal damage/mischief cases were documented on January 18 on Liberty Road and January 19 on Marsh Road, with an arrest made on January 19. A burglary was reported on January 19 on Echo Road. Assault and Violence A simple assault case was reported on December 19 on Norman Drive. Another simple assault incident occurred on January 15 on Commerce Drive. Drug and Narcotics Enforcement An arrest for narcotics/drug law violations was made on January 16 on Graham Road, with charges including counterfeiting, possession of drug paraphernalia, driver's license required violations, and open container prohibited. A narcotics/drug law violation was reported on January 18 on Graham Road. An arrest for narcotics/drug law violations was made on January 17 on State Route 8 South near East Steels Corners Road. Domestic Violence Cases A domestic violence arrest was made on January 14 on Darrow Road for domestic violence and open container violations. A domestic violence incident was reported on January 15 on Independence Circle involving knowingly causing physical harm. A domestic incident was reported on January 19 on Wyndham Ridge Drive. Traffic and Alcohol Violations An arrest for OVI/DUI was made on January 18 at Graham Road and Kings Mill Boulevard. A closed OVI/DUI case was documented on January 18 on State Route 8 North near Seasons Road. A liquor law violation was reported on January 19 on Graham Road in Cuyahoga Falls. An arrest for liquor law violations was made on January 19 on East Steels Corners Road. Juvenile and Missing Person A runaway juvenile case was reported on January 19 on Bridgewater Parkway. Additional Incidents A theft/larceny incident was reported on January 18 on Graham Road in Cuyahoga Falls.
