University Heights Symphonic Band will make its fifth appearance at Longwood Manor, 1634 East Aurora Road, Macedonia, on Thursday evening, July 16 th . Concert start time is 7:00pm. Admission and parking are free. Reservations are not necessary. University Heights Symphonic Band is now in its 57 th season. It is sponsored by the City of University Heights and under the direction of Devlin J. Pope. This 50-piece concert band features music of all genres, selections including marches by John Philip Sousa and other march composers; medleys highlighting pop stars; and music from movies, television, and even cartoons! This is an outdoor concert on the grounds of Longwood Manor, former home of the first Mayor of Macedonia, Colonel William Frew Long. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, maybe a picnic dinner, and enjoy the music. The Manor house will be open for tours. The Concert is sponsored by Longwood Manor Historical Society www.longwoodmanor.org .
