Beaumont School is hosting a community meeting tonight for Cleveland Heights neighbors who want to learn more about the campus’s future plans. The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. in Sister Margaret Ann Kelley Dining Hall (MAK) at Beaumont School, 3301 North Park Blvd., Cleveland Heights. Student-led campus tours will be available beforehand, from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. Parking is available in the North Park Lot in front of the school. What to Expect The school has developed a comprehensive campus master plan with Bialosky Cleveland Architects as part of its long-term vision. School President Wendy A. Hoke said the plan balances growth, preservation and stewardship of the historic property with the educational demands of the future. Topics on the agenda include an overview of the master plan and recent facility improvements, the history of the property including the Painter estate, a redevelopment study undertaken by Dr. Roby Simon, plans for the demolition of the Painter house, and Beaumont’s commitment to preserving the remainder of the original estate and its structures. Time will also be set aside for community questions and feedback. Light refreshments will be provided.
