Nino J. Seritti

Columnist · Seven Hills, Ohio

A resident of Seven Hills he has been employed in the Information Technology, IT Auditing, Risk Analysis and IT Governance fields for many years, consulting in many of large industries including Health Care, Banking, Insurance and Manufacturing. Some of his clients include: Lubrizol, Eaton Corp, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan, Key Bank, FedEx Global Logistics, North Broward Hospital District (Ft. Lauderdale) and The Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

He is President of Crest Development, Inc. a software consulting firm he started in 1997 and is a certified member of ISACA an association engaged in the development, adoption and use of industry-leading Audit and Governance practices for information systems.

He attended Kent State and is a graduate of Cleveland State University, where he co-founded several cultural organizations, Padua Franciscan High School, where he started his family’s tradition of attending Padua. The Padua Bruin tradition included attendance by his Brother (Tony), his Son (Nick) and his Daughter (Cristina).

A type ‘A’ personality, he decided to drive himself crazy by running (and winning) a Ward 3 Council seat in Seven Hills, Ohio in the early 2000’s. It was because of his interest in community service that he was asked and accepted a seat on the University Hospital - Parma Medical Center Board of Directors, a position he currently holds.

His interests run the gamut from Hiking, Photography, History and Writing. His writing avocation led to his being published in CrainsCleveland.Com, an online division of Crain Communication and his foray with Southwest Sentry.

He’s a volunteer and certified member of FEMA’s Quad City Cert - Community Emergency Response Team, a former City Councilman (Ward 3) in Seven Hills and is currently on the University Hospital - Parma Medical Center Board of Directors and Community Board of Trustees of University Hospitals Health Systems.

He lives with his exact opinion-wise opposite, wife Audrey, who makes sure he never gets too big for his britches. Mr. Seritti speaks two languages (English, Italian) and when he gets in trouble with his wife or children often pretends not to understand any human language at all.
