Brecksville, Ohio — The Courtyard Café, a cherished family-owned restaurant in Brecksville, has temporarily closed its doors following a minor fire incident. While the damage is being assessed and repairs are underway, the local community has rallied to support the café’s staff during this challenging period.

In response to the closure, Kristopher Toth from the Brecksville Chamber of Commerce has organized a GoFundMe campaign to assist the Courtyard Café’s employees. The fundraiser aims to compensate for lost tips that staff members would have earned during the closure, as their insurance covers wages but not gratuities. Toth emphasizes the importance of community support, stating, “Every little bit helps! Let’s show them what our community can do in their time of need!”

Additionally, the café is offering “Gift Coins,” their version of gift cards, available for purchase at the restaurant from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. Patrons are encouraged to buy these gift coins to provide immediate financial support and to dine at the restaurant once it reopens.

Established in 1983, the Courtyard Café has been a staple in Brecksville, known for its welcoming atmosphere and diverse menu featuring American cuisine, including steaks, seafood, pizzas, salads, and more.
