Encore Creativity for Older Adults, the nation’s largest choral organization for adults over 55, has opened registration for its Summer 2025 singing program in Pepper Pike. The six-week season will begin the week of June 23, with rehearsals held on Monday afternoons from 1:00-2:30 pm at the Orange Senior Center.
The program welcomes singers of all experience levels, with no musical background required. Participants will engage in weekly rehearsals that culminate in open sessions where family and friends can join in the musical celebration.
“These summer offerings provide participants with a vibrant opportunity to connect through music,” said a representative from Encore Creativity. The organization emphasizes its mission “to provide an excellent and accessible artistic environment for older adults, regardless of experience level.”
The summer program costs $75, with scholarships available for those who need financial assistance. Beyond the musical experience, the program promotes wellness and social connection for older adults.
“Meet new friends and improve your wellness with a song this summer with our chorales for singers 55+,” the organization states in its promotional materials.
