Vehicle Flips on Cleveland’s West Side, Three Hospitalized

Adult woman and two children transported to Metro Hospital after Tuesday morning crash

An adult woman and two young children were trapped inside their vehicle after it flipped on the city’s West side. The driver was going westbound on Detroit Avenue around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday when she struck a parked car near W. 111th Street.

The SUV flipped over and landed on its roof, trapping the driver and kids inside. Emergency responders successfully freed all three occupants from the overturned vehicle. Cleveland EMS said the 38-year-old woman, a four-year-old girl and a seven-year-old girl were transported to Metro Hospital with minor injuries.

According to Cleveland Police, officers are still investigating the accident. The crash occurred in the early morning hours on one of Cleveland’s main west side streets.
