Macedonia Police Arrest 6 Women in Separate Kohl’s Theft Incidents

Officers recover over $3,300 in stolen merchandise during busy day at Macedonia Commons

Macedonia police arrested six women in two separate retail theft incidents at Kohl’s Department Store in Macedonia Commons on June 3.

The first incident occurred at 5:30 p.m. when officers responded to reports of five women actively stealing merchandise. After brief foot chases involving both day and night shift officers, three suspects were apprehended along with their vehicle. Police recovered more than $1,000 in stolen goods.

Hours later, while officers conducted follow-up work at the store, Kohl’s reported another large-scale theft involving three different women. Officers positioned themselves strategically and arrested the suspects without incident as they attempted to leave the store. More than $2,300 in merchandise was recovered in the second incident.

Macedonia Police credited the partnership with local retailers for the successful arrests, noting that quick reporting allowed officers to respond effectively to the crimes.
