Vehicle Tampering Reported on Fleetwood Drive
Residents report possible vehicle interference
Sagamore Hills police investigated a report of possible vehicle tampering on Fleetwood Drive on June 4.
Officers responded to the single-family home around 7:16 a.m. following reports that a vehicle may have been tampered with. The incident was classified under suspicious activity and cleared by 8:45 a.m.
The investigation involved a 2018 black Nissan with Ohio plates. No arrests were made and the case was handled as an informational report.
Suspicious Vehicle Towed From Canyon View Road
Police remove abandoned vehicle from roadway
A suspicious vehicle was towed from West Aurora Canyon View Road after police investigation on June 7.
Officers responded to the highway area around 10:47 a.m. for reports of a suspicious vehicle. A 2008 gold Buick was subsequently towed from the scene.
The vehicle was removed by police tow and the incident was cleared by 11:29 a.m. The case was classified as a vehicle-related incident.

Aggravated Menacing Report Filed at Police Station
Resident reports threats and harassment
A Sagamore Hills resident filed a walk-in report of threats and harassment at the Valley View Road police station on June 8.
The incident involved a resident from Canyon View Road who reported aggravated menacing. The complainant came to the station around 9:51 a.m. to file the report.
A second individual from Broadview Heights was identified as a subject in the case. The report was classified under Ohio Revised Code 2903.211 for aggravated menacing and was cleared by 10:49 a.m.
Body Found During Welfare Check on Eaton Ridge Drive
Sagamore Hills police investigate death at apartment complex
Sagamore Hills police responded to a welfare check on Eaton Ridge Drive that resulted in the discovery of a deceased person on June 3.
Officers were dispatched to the Eaton Ridge Drive apartment complex at approximately 6:35 p.m. for a welfare check. The incident was classified as “DOA and body found” with the case cleared by 10:02 p.m.
Two officers responded to the call at the residential complex. No further details about the circumstances were available in the initial report.
