DUI Driver Arrested After Multi-Vehicle Incident N Aurora Road traffic stop leads to multiple charges
Aurora police arrested Andrew Morris on June 20 following a traffic stop that began with a vehicle towing complaint. Officers discovered Morris was driving under the influence and cited him for DUS, court drug violator compact violations. The incident occurred at Bank Street and Aurora Road at 4:39 PM.

A theft was reported on June 20 at New Castle involving a package containing prescription medication. The resident received confirmation the package was delivered but never received it. The medication was for kidney and heart transplant treatment. Police advised the resident to file a report to obtain a new prescription.
Leaf Blower and Saw Theft from Shed Winchell Road property crime
A resident on Winchell Road reported someone stole a leaf blower and saw cutter from their shed on June 18. The theft was discovered around 4:28 PM when the victim noticed items missing.

Domestic Violence Incident Results in Hospital Transport Bryce Avenue altercation sends man to hospital
Police responded to a domestic violence call on June 17 at Bryce Avenue. A woman reported her boyfriend punched her brother in the face and pushed him around during a physical altercation. The male victim was transported to the hospital. The incident occurred around 12:59 AM.
Multiple Welfare Checks Conducted Officers respond to health and safety concerns
Aurora officers conducted several welfare checks during the reporting period. One incident on June 18 at Dunwoody Drive involved checking on a resident who had been sending concerning emails. Another welfare check on June 18 at Barrington Place East involved an employee who had been taking sleeping pills and making concerning statements about work attendance.
Mental Health Crisis Response Madison Avenue incident involves juvenile
Officers responded to a mental health issue on June 20 at Madison Avenue involving a juvenile who was very upset and did not want to speak with officers. The incident was resolved with the juvenile being transported to receive medical attention.

Loose Yellow Lab Reported Garfield Road and Townline Road area
A caller reported a yellow lab running loose in the area on June 15. The incident was reported around 8:14 PM.
Dead Geese Found in Parking Lot Lena Drive incident requires cleanup
Multiple dead geese were discovered in a parking lot on June 16. Animal control was contacted and security footage was collected. The incident required coordination with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
