Arrests & Warrants
July 5 – East Blvd Warrant service resulted in arrest of male subject who appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Subject sent to jail custody and later transferred to county.
July 5 – Page Road Warrant arrest of homeless male on park bench. Subject transported and confirmed through multiple agencies.
July 2 – Chillicothe Road Traffic stop resulted in warrant arrest. Male with gun pointed at female earlier declined to cooperate. Investigation involved multiple units and transportation arrangements.
June 28 – South Aurora Road
Warrant arrest following hit-and-run confirmation from Chagrin Valley Dispatch. Male subject failed to register vehicle and was wanted on multiple charges.
June 24 – North Aurora Road Warrant arrest during domestic incident response. Female subject afraid of boyfriend was given cigarette and assistance before suspect was taken into custody.
Domestic Incidents
July 8 – Barrington Place East Domestic violence incident involving husband throwing items at spouse. Both parties had been drinking. Vehicle registered to male party was damaged during altercation. Case forwarded to prosecutor.
June 23 – Madison Avenue
Domestic dispute with male and female arguing in garage area. Male followed female to neighbor’s residence. No physical violence reported.
Criminal Activity
July 8 – Sandover Drive Fraud investigation involving credit card purchases. Case forwarded to Howell Township Police for jurisdiction.
July 6 – Elliman Road Mutual aid response for domestic incident involving armed subject in green shirt. Multiple units responded to scene with golf cart deployment.
July 3 – Fatal Crash Fatal traffic accident involving mother and child. Units responded to Streetsboro area. Helicopter medical transport was initially requested but later canceled. Investigation ongoing with juvenile information protected.
July 2 – Chillicothe Road Armed suspect incident with male pointing firearm at female. Multiple units responded. Suspect refused to cooperate and fled scene before arrest could be made.
June 30 – Deepwoods Drive Computer fraud case reported by two parties seeking to file report with officer.
June 28 – New Castle Breaking and entering attempt at residence. Passenger window appeared to be forcefully opened but nothing reported stolen. Previous medication theft from porch suspected.
June 27 – Moneta Avenue Criminal trespass case involving subject violating bond conditions by being on property. Multiple charges pending including bond violations.
Traffic & Vehicle Issues
July 2 – Chillicothe Road
Multiple traffic incidents including disabled vehicles and service calls. Units responded to assist motorists and coordinate towing services.
July 1 – Aurora Road/Treat Road Property damage incident involving large concrete pieces in roadway. Multiple vehicles sustained tire damage from debris. Service department called for road cleanup. Good Samaritan helped move items from travel lanes.
June 28 – Barrington Town Square Hit-skip crash involving silver Chevrolet Equinox. Two females involved with no cameras facing parking lot. All pertinent information collected for report.
June 27 – Crackel Road Road rage incident on Chillicothe Road involving female driver and elderly male with sunglasses. Male exited vehicle and approached complainant’s window aggressively before being advised to leave area.
June 26 – Aurora Road Disabled vehicle situation involving burnt orange Dodge Caravan with suspended license issues. Driver unable to locate proper documentation.
June 26 – Treat Road Suspicious vehicle activity with three suspects observed in area doing reconnaissance. All parties contacted, warned and ordered to leave after questioning.
Welfare Checks
July 6 – High Bluff Mental health crisis involving male making suicide threats. Father called stating subject had gone to help others in the past. Individual transported to University Hospitals for evaluation after being located.
July 1 – Regal Oaks Circle Welfare check on male resident with mental health concerns. Parents called about individual having crisis and receiving concerning text messages. Subject transported for evaluation.
June 29 – Buckingham Welfare check for dispute between caller and resident. Caller had child in arms and wanted officer escort to retrieve belongings safely. Situation resolved without incident.
Theft Reports
July 2 – Chillicothe Road Retail theft at store involving female who came in and left with merchandise around 1:15 PM. Store personnel gathered documentation and video footage for prosecution.
July 2 – Chillicothe Road Cell phone theft reported involving husband’s device stolen while at store. Investigation ongoing for recovery.
June 30 – Emerald Court Missing firearm reported by male resident to police station. Report taken for documentation.
June 30 – South Aurora Road Theft from vehicle reported with parties asking to speak with officer about items missing from parked car. Suspect information being developed.
Public Safety
June 27 – Greenbriar Drive Juvenile complaint filed regarding undisclosed incident with minor’s information protected.
July 6 – High Bluff Mental health crisis involving individual making threats. Person transported to hospital for evaluation and treatment.
July 5 – Pioneer Trail Suicide attempt reported. Female subject transported to medical facility for care.
July 9 – Rock Creek Drive Suspicious vehicle reported parked for extended period. Vehicle had damage and no registration plates. Licensed operator awaited for removal.
