DUI and Traffic Violations
OVI Arrest on Brandywine Road
July 10
Officers arrested a 29-year-old Illinois man for operating a vehicle while impaired on Brandywine Road. The suspect was found with his vehicle stopped in the roadway and was charged with OVI and breath test refusal with a BAC of .17% or greater. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Underage Drinking Incident
July 13
Six people, including four juveniles, were cited for underage consumption and open container violations during a traffic stop. The youths were released to their parents.
Fraud and Scams
Phone Scam Report
July 9
Residents on Walton Road reported being targeted by phone scammers.
Fraud Reports Continue
July 13 and July 15
Additional fraud reports were filed by residents, including one case involving an attempted fraud where the victim came to the police station to report the incident.
Bar Fight at Local Establishment
Disturbance at Local Sports Bar
July 12
Officers responded to a bar fight at a local sports bar in the early morning hours around 12:54 AM. Two men were arrested for disorderly conduct following the altercation.
Mental Health and Crisis Response
Suicide Attempt Response
July 15
Officers responded to a residence on Spring Creek Road for a suicide attempt involving an overdose. The subject was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
Domestic Disturbance
July 22
A welfare check resulted in a disorderly conduct citation after a man was found destroying household items and making threats. The subject was taken for mental health evaluation and issued a court date.

Bullying Complaint
July 10-11
A juvenile complaint was filed regarding bullying incidents occurring in the Eaton Estates neighborhood and at football practice.
Found Property
July 21
Officers recovered a green bag containing white powder found in the roadway on Acre Drive. The substance was logged as evidence and given a property tag number.
Civil Matter
July 17
Police took a report regarding a civil matter and possible fraud involving multiple parties at an apartment complex. The incident spans from mid-June through early July.
