Workplace Disruption at Little Tikes Raises Concerns

Hudson police were called to Little Tikes headquarters on Barlow Road July 31 after an employee reportedly became aggressive with coworkers during a vendor meeting. The executive director of procurement had recently returned to work following a stroke and was experiencing personal stressors at home. Company officials told police the employee had kicked an office door and was yelling at colleagues, though no threats or physical contact occurred. Human Resources indicated they were considering disciplinary action or termination, and private security would be brought in for two weeks as a precaution.

Neighbor Dispute Over Property Sale Resolved

A property dispute between Huntington Road neighbors was resolved July 31 when police mediated between a homeowner trying to sell his house and a neighbor who had parked in the seller’s driveway. The neighbor explained he had his driveway seal-coated and thought the empty house’s driveway was available. Officers warned the neighbor about trespassing and advised both parties about proper parking etiquette, including not blocking mailboxes.

Good Samaritan Returns Lost Wallet

A Hudson resident found a wallet while bicycling on Marblehead Drive July 31 and turned it in to police. The wallet, containing $56 in cash, credit cards and identification, was returned to its owner from Solon that same evening.

Suspicious Activity and Welfare Checks

Police responded to several routine calls during the week, including welfare checks on Herrick Park Drive and Atterbury Boulevard that found all subjects safe. A suspicious activity report on Jonathan Drive involved someone ringing a doorbell and leaving, but no one was located during the police check.

Disorderly Conduct Investigation Continues

A 17-year-old female reported being followed by a white SUV with distinctive lighting while driving on Terex Road Aug. 1. The caller said the vehicle followed her through several turns and waited at intersections. Police located and interviewed the male driver, who claimed he was experiencing harassment and paranoia, believing he was being followed by law enforcement. The investigation revealed this individual had a history of similar complaints dating back to 2022. No charges were filed.

  • Noise complaints for fireworks on Ravenna Street and loud music on Paderborne Drive Aug. 2
