Mulberry Gardens Memory Care in Munroe Falls will host a Vitalant blood drive Friday, Aug. 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering donors a chance to win a $10,000 gas gift card.
The Vitalant Bloodmobile will be stationed at 47 Steeplechase Lane during the three-hour donation window. All donors will receive a $20 gift card and a “Giving State” t-shirt through the Donor Rewards Program, but must use code LABORDAY-2025-V when scheduling their appointment.
Beyond the standard rewards, every donor will be entered into Vitalant’s gas giveaway for the $10,000 gift card, which the organization notes is enough to purchase fuel for an entire year and is redeemable via email.
Vitalant recommends donors eat before giving blood and bring photo identification along with a list of any medications they currently take. While walk-ins are accepted, appointments are recommended and can be scheduled by visiting vitalant.org and using Blood Drive Code 100561772, or by scanning the QR code on promotional materials.
