Ravenna Police Reports: Assault and Menacing, Juvenile and Theft-Related Offenses

Multiple arrests made across various offenses in week-long period

Ravenna police handled a variety of criminal cases from Sept. 29 through Oct. 6, resulting in multiple arrests across the city.

Assault and Menacing

A 19-year-old was arrested Oct. 1 on aggravated menacing charges. On Oct. 2, a 41-year-old was booked on assault charges.

Theft-Related Offenses

Several theft incidents occurred during the reporting period. A 13-year-old was arrested Oct. 1 for theft, while a shoplifting arrest was made Oct. 2 involving a 65-year-old. On Oct. 5, a 43-year-old was arrested for theft without consent.

A 34-year-old was arrested Sept. 30 for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle involving interstate travel exceeding 48 hours.

Juvenile Offenses

Police arrested multiple juveniles during the week. Two individuals, both 16 years old and 14 years old respectively, were arrested on unruly juvenile charges. One of them was arrested on consecutive days, Oct. 2 and Oct. 3. Another 14-year-old was arrested Oct. 3 on similar charges.

Two 16-year-olds were arrested Sept. 30 for offenses involving underage persons and contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a child.

Public Order Offenses

A 17-year-old was arrested Oct. 2 for disorderly conduct, while a 61-year-old was arrested Oct. 2 for criminal trespass. On Oct. 4, a 54-year-old was booked on charges of disrupting public service.

OVI Arrest

A 35-year-old was arrested Oct. 5 for operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol, drugs or a combination of both.

Outstanding Warrants

Multiple individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants from other agencies and Ravenna Police Department. On Sept. 29, two people, ages 39 and 41, were arrested on misdemeanor warrants from other agencies.

Sept. 30 saw several warrant arrests, including a 20-year-old arrested on obstructing official business charges along with felony and misdemeanor warrants. A 31-year-old and 20-year-old were also arrested on Ravenna misdemeanor warrants that day.

On Oct. 3, a 22-year-old was arrested on a felony warrant from another agency.
