Lake Erie College Launches $15,000 Annual Scholarship for Cuyahoga County Students

New program locks in reduced tuition rate for four years

Lake Erie College announced the Cuyahoga Connect Scholarship program Tuesday, offering Cuyahoga County students a fixed tuition rate of $15,000 per year for four years.

The scholarship reduces tuition to $7,500 per semester for new full-time students from Cuyahoga County. The rate remains locked throughout a student’s four-year academic program, according to college officials.

“The Cuyahoga Connect Scholarship reflects our commitment to expanding access to higher education for local students,” Lake Erie College President Jennifer N. Schuller said. “We’re proud to invest in the future of Cuyahoga County graduates and help them stay connected to opportunity right here in Northeast Ohio.”

The scholarship applies directly to tuition and fees. Students can live on campus or participate in athletics with additional costs.

Lake Erie College offers programs in business, education and STEM fields. The college competes in Division II athletics.

Students can schedule campus tours at lec.edu, by calling 440-375-7050 or emailing visit@lec.edu.
