Police Incident Reports for week of Oct. 21-27

THEFT/SHOPLIFTING

Oct. 22, 6:43 p.m. – Police arrested a suspect for shoplifting at a business on Kent Road. The incident occurred during early evening hours.

Oct. 22, 8:57 p.m. – Officers issued a warrant for a shoplifting suspect at a Kent Road location. The theft was reported late in the evening.

Oct. 23, 2:30 p.m. – An arrest was made for shoplifting at a Kent Road business during the afternoon shopping hours.

Oct. 24, 9:11 a.m. – Officers responded to a shoplifting incident at a Kent Road store that also involved drug paraphernalia possession. The case was closed following the morning investigation.

Oct. 24, 2:32 p.m. – A shoplifting case was closed at a Kent Road business in the early afternoon.

Oct. 25, 12:15 p.m. – Police arrested a suspect for shoplifting at a Kent Road location around midday.

Oct. 27, 12:15 p.m. – Officers investigated a theft incident at a business on Kent Road during the lunch hour.

Oct. 17, 11:59 p.m. – Police responded to a theft report at an apartment on Fishcreek Road where property was taken without consent. The incident occurred late at night.

FRAUD

Oct. 21, 4:15 p.m. – Officers investigated a fraud case on Lillian Road during the late afternoon.

Oct. 23, 9:26 a.m. – Police responded to a credit card misuse incident on Valley Forge Drive. The victim reported their card was being used illegally in a morning report.

Oct. 24, 10:00 a.m. – Officers investigated an identity fraud case on Cypress Court involving someone representing another person’s personal information as their own. The incident was reported in the morning hours.

Oct. 24, 12:32 p.m. – A fraud case involving theft by deception and telecommunications fraud was closed on Seminole Circle around midday.

TRAFFIC/DUI

Oct. 21, 1:24 p.m. – Police arrested a suspect following an afternoon pursuit involving street racing, reckless operation and failure to comply with police orders. The incident occurred in the early afternoon.

Oct. 22, 5:36 p.m. – Officers made an arrest for operating a vehicle under the influence at the intersection of Kent Road and Darrow Road during evening rush hour. The suspect had a breath alcohol level exceeding .17 grams, more than twice the legal limit, and was found with an open container of beer or intoxicating liquor in the vehicle.

Oct. 25, 11:51 p.m. – A warrant was issued following a late-night pursuit on State Route 8 near Seasons Road. Charges include obstructing official business, exceeding maximum speed limits, reckless operation on a public roadway, improper lane usage, failure to comply with police orders and vehicle pursuit violations.

Oct. 21, 3:26 p.m. – Officers cited a motorist for failing to stop for a school bus that was loading or unloading students on Kent Road during afternoon dismissal time.

WEAPONS/DRUGS

Oct. 21, 4:45 p.m. – A suspect was arrested for obstructing official business and resisting arrest at a location on Stow Road during the late afternoon. The individual resisted or interfered with officers during the incident.

Oct. 25, 1:56 a.m. – Officers made an extensive arrest on State Route 8 near East Steels Corners Road in the early morning hours. The suspect faces multiple charges including improper handling of firearms in a vehicle with failure to disclose to motor carrier enforcement, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule I or II controlled substances, having weapons while under disability due to a drug-related conviction, and possessing drug abuse instruments.

Oct. 27, 11:00 a.m. – Police made a narcotics-related arrest on Graham Road during the late morning.

SEX OFFENSES

Oct. 13, 12:27 p.m. – Officers investigated a sexual imposition incident involving offensive contact on Graham Road. The incident occurred around midday and was reported 10 days later on Oct. 23.

June 1, 2024 – A case involving pandering sexual matter with a minor was closed on Seneca Street. The investigation into the production of illicit material concluded in late October.

DOMESTIC/PROTECTION ORDERS

Oct. 22, 11:59 p.m. – Police responded to a protection order violation on Darrow Road just before midnight. The incident involved a violation of an order issued pursuant to state domestic violence statutes.

Oct. 26, 6:51 p.m. – Officers investigated another protection order violation on Uniondale Drive during the early evening hours.

Oct. 27, 6:32 p.m. – Police responded to a domestic incident on Stow Road in the early evening.

HARASSMENT/DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Oct. 15, 3:27 p.m. – Officers responded to a disorderly conduct complaint on Graham Road during the mid-afternoon. The incident was reported nine days later on Oct. 24.

Oct. 24, 2:37 p.m. – Police handled a telecommunications harassment case on Uniondale Drive in the early afternoon. The victim reported being harassed, intimidated or abused via telephone or electronic communication.

Oct. 25, 4:29 p.m. – Officers responded to a disorderly conduct and intoxication incident at a business on Kent Road during the late afternoon hours.

ASSAULTS

Oct. 26, 3:20 p.m. – Police investigated a simple assault at a business on Kent Road during the mid-afternoon.

JUVENILE INCIDENTS

Oct. 26, 10:00 p.m. – Police closed a juvenile complaint involving an unruly and disobedient youth at an apartment on Wyndham Ridge Drive late in the evening.

Oct. 24, 9:00 p.m. – Officers arrested a juvenile on Graham Road during the evening hours. The case was closed later in the week.

ALCOHOL VIOLATIONS

Oct. 27, 1:23 a.m. – Officers investigated an underage alcohol consumption case at an apartment on Kent Road in the early morning hours. The incident involved underage persons consuming beer or liquor.

ANIMAL INCIDENTS

Oct. 21, 9:43 a.m. – Officers responded to a dog running at large on Cox Drive during the morning hours. The case was closed following the incident.

Oct. 23, 10:09 a.m. – Animal control responded to an animal bite incident on Millburn Avenue in the mid-morning.

CITIZEN INTERACTIONS

Oct. 24, 1:36 p.m. – Police handled a citizen interaction matter on Darrow Road in the early afternoon.

Oct. 24, 10:27 p.m. – Officers responded to another citizen interaction on Darrow Road late in the evening.
