RAVENNA — Ravenna Police Department made 16 arrests during the week of Oct. 22-28, according to booking reports.
Assault
On Oct. 28, officers were dispatched to a report of an assault on N. Walnut Street. A 21-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with assault.
Also on Oct. 28, officers responded to Brown Middle School for an incident that occurred on Oct. 20. A 13-year-old juvenile was arrested on two counts of assault.
Disorderly Conduct
On Oct. 23, Ravenna police responded to a residence on West Main Street for a disturbance. Two individuals were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
On Oct. 24, officers were dispatched for a male causing a disturbance on Page Street. A 59-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated creating a risk of harm.
Obstructing Official Business
On Oct. 23, while on patrol, an officer observed an individual acting suspiciously. A 60-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with obstructing official business, along with felony and misdemeanor warrants from other agencies.
Drug Possession
On Oct. 25, an officer conducted a traffic stop on Ravenna Road in Twinsburg. A 42-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with possession of drugs, a Schedule I or II substance.
Shoplifting
On Oct. 25, officers were dispatched to Family Dollar for a shoplifting report. A 46-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with theft.
On Oct. 28, a 56-year-old suspect was arrested after being found on camera taking a kitchen set from Dollar General on S. Sycamore Street. The suspect was charged with theft.
Unruly Juvenile
On Oct. 26, officers responded to a report of a juvenile problem on Sapp Road. A 15-year-old was arrested and charged with unruly juvenile offenses.
Warrant Arrests
Several individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants during the week. On Oct. 25, officers were dispatched to a residence on Harvard Boulevard and arrested a 36-year-old on misdemeanor warrants from another agency.
On Oct. 25, while on patrol, an officer observed a vehicle traveling without proper registration on W. Garfield Road in Aurora. A 68-year-old was arrested on misdemeanor warrants from another agency.
On Oct. 27, Portage County Sheriff’s Office arrested an individual on a Ravenna Police Department misdemeanor warrant.
On Oct. 28, officers were dispatched to a report of a subject causing problems. A 23-year-old was arrested on misdemeanor warrants from another agency.
