WILLOUGHBY, Ohio – Jeff’s Candy Shop announced it is beginning the “resurrection process” of the former Brandt’s Candies location — with a long-term goal of relocating into the dormant candy shop space at 1238 Lost Nation Rd, Willoughby, OH 44094.
Jeff, the owner of the growing confectionery business, said he stumbled upon the former Brandt’s Candies location only months ago — and was stunned by what he found.
“It was unbelievable,” he said in the post. “An entire candy shop, just sitting dormant, right down the road from where I currently reside.”
Now, Jeff’s Candy Shop is beginning what he calls a “resurrection process,” signaling a new chapter for both the business and the long-quiet landmark.
A Big Upgrade for the Local Sweet Scene
According to Jeff, moving into the Brandt’s Candies building will give the shop a sizable upgrade and the ability to serve customers “on a whole new level.”
One of the biggest additions: live candy-making demonstrations — something that promises to draw families, nostalgic shoppers, and candy lovers from all over Northeast Ohio. Jeff shared that his vision is rooted in the warmth and wonder of childhood candy-store visits.
“My goal is to bring all the old nostalgia that we all felt as kids walking into those old candy shops and bring that back to life,” he said.
A Journey Powered by Cleveland’s Support
Jeff thanked Clevelanders directly for helping make the expansion possible, noting that community support has fueled the shop’s evolution from the beginning.
“I can’t wait to go on this journey and I hope you all are excited to follow along,” he wrote. “None of this would be possible without you.”
The shop encouraged fans to follow updates online — and to browse its candy collection on their Facebook page and their website:
