HUDSON, Ohio – Identity Fraud: On Jan. 21, a resident from Atterbury Boulevard reported identity fraud at the police station. A second report of identity fraud was taken on Jan. 23 regarding a resident on Barlow Road.

Assault: Officers responded to Laurel Lake Drive on Jan. 21 for a report of an altercation between a resident and two other individuals that also involved the resident’s dog.

Found Property: A wallet found at the NC Soccer Club was turned in to the station on Jan. 21. The owner was contacted and confirmed all contents were present. On Jan. 22, another resident turned in a found item from Barlow Road.

Mental Health: Police responded to Pine Trails Circle on Jan. 21 and Garden Lane on Jan. 25 for reports involving individuals in mental health crises.

Fraud/Scams: A fraud report was filed by a Stoney Hill Drive resident on Jan. 21. On Jan. 22, a resident from Chestwick Lane reported a scam to officers at the station.

Animal Complaints: On Jan. 23, police responded to South Main Street for an injured deer; the animal was euthanized. A report of a dog at large was taken on Winslow Drive on Jan. 25.

Open Door: Officers discovered an unsecured door at a Darrow Road business while responding to an alarm on Jan. 23. A second open door was investigated on Stone Road on Jan. 25.

Vehicle Pursuit: Late on Jan. 24, Hudson Police attempted to stop a vehicle for a moving violation on Terex Road. The driver fled, and the pursuit was terminated once the license plate was obtained. The vehicle returned to a 19-year-old Akron woman with a suspended license.

Welfare Check: Officers were dispatched to West Streetsboro Street on Jan. 26 to check the welfare of a non-verbal male on-site.
