Pepper Pike Special Branch Chipping: Storm Cleanup, Collection Guidelines, and May Schedule

Mayor Bain Announces One-Time Special Branch Chipping Collection Following Recent Storms

PEPPER PIKE, Ohio – Mayor Richard M. Bain and the City of Pepper Pike Service Department have announced a special, one-time branch chipping collection to assist residents with the aftermath of recent severe weather. This emergency service is designed to help the community efficiently clear debris from their properties. The collection is scheduled to begin promptly this Monday, March 23, and crews will make only a single pass through the city to ensure all affected areas are serviced as quickly as possible.

To ensure your debris is collected, the city has established specific branch collection guidelines that must be followed. All branches must be placed at the curb no later than 7:00 a.m. on Monday morning. Residents should ensure that log widths do not exceed 11 inches in diameter and that branches are positioned with the clean-cut ends facing the street and the branch tips pointing toward the home. Following these placement rules allows the Service Department crews to process the materials safely and efficiently.

Following the completion of this special storm cleanup, the city will pause branch chipping services until the regular season resumes. The City of Pepper Pike will return to its normal branch collection schedule in May, and residents are encouraged to visit the city website to view the full 2026 calendar for future dates. For any specific questions regarding the upcoming collection, residents can contact Rachael at the Service Department by calling (216) 896-6149.
