The Twinsburg AC 4th Grade Girls delivered a dominant performance this past weekend at the 2026 Ohio Indoor Soccer Tournament, held at the NC Soccer complex. The team showcased exceptional skill, teamwork, and resilience to finish the tournament undefeated and bring home the championship trophy.
Saturday: A Perfect Start
The Tigers set the tone early on Saturday, sweeping all three of their opening matches. The team’s balanced attack and disciplined defense resulted in a combined score of 8-1 across the three games. This clinical performance secured their spot in the finals and established them as the team to beat.
Sunday: Sealing the Deal
In the championship match against Hudson, Twinsburg left no room for doubt. They controlled the pace from the opening whistle, ultimately securing a decisive 5-1 victory. The win was a testament to the girls’ endurance and ability to perform under the pressure of a title game.
Tournament Standouts
While the victory was a total team effort, two players delivered statistically remarkable performances:
• Marley Blake (Offense): Blake was an offensive powerhouse throughout the weekend. She accounted for over half of the team’s total scoring, netting 7 of the 13 goals scored by Twinsburg AC.
• Molly Heiss (Goalkeeper): Heiss was a wall in the net. Her composure and quick reflexes limited opponents to just two goals the entire tournament, providing the defensive backbone necessary for a championship run.
Congratulations to the players, coaches, and families of Twinsburg AC on a spectacular championship weekend!
