The department addressed multiple reports of telecommunications harassment and conducted several welfare checks, including an emergency response to an attempted suicide on Arboretum Circle. Telecommunications Harassment and Identity Theft Reports

On February 18, 2026, Officer Chris Salveter met with a resident in the vestibule of the Sagamore Hills Police Station regarding a telecommunications harassment complaint. The victim reported ongoing issues that had allegedly persisted since February 4, 2026. Later that month, on February 28, officers initiated a separate investigation into identity theft and fraud occurring at a multi-dwelling unit on Greenwood Parkway. According to the report, the fraudulent activity was noted to have begun as early as February 24.

Traffic Complaint Involving a Postal Delivery Vehicle

Police were dispatched to the parking lot of Quik Chek on February 18, 2026, following reports of a possible motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, officers identified a white 1989 GMC postal delivery truck involved in the incident. The investigation was classified as a traffic complaint occurring near the intersection of SR 82 and Boyden Road. No significant injuries were documented in the initial narrative, and the vehicle was not reported as having major damage to the engine or ignition.
