Aurora Inn Refreshes Swim Center with $200K Renovation

Aurora Inn’s aquatics facility receives major upgrades to its indoor pool, sauna, and fitness space while offering limited-time membership discounts for new members.

The Aurora Inn Hotel & Event Center has completed a significant renovation of its Aurora Swim Center, investing approximately $200,000 in improvements to the indoor pool area, sauna, and fitness space. The upgrades aim to modernize the facility while enhancing the experience for both hotel guests and local members.

The newly refreshed aquatics center now features an updated pool deck, brighter interior finishes, and an improved workout area. The redesign creates a more welcoming space for swimmers looking for lap training as well as visitors seeking a relaxing wellness amenity.

At the heart of the facility is the Swim Center’s 80,000-gallon indoor pool, which remains large enough for lap swimming and recreational use. Clearly marked lanes make it easy for dedicated swimmers to train, while ample deck space offers room for families and casual swimmers to enjoy the pool comfortably.

Members also have access to locker rooms equipped with a sauna and complimentary towels. These amenities help make quick workouts or relaxing swims convenient for people fitting exercise into busy schedules. The Swim Center operates on a membership basis and offers both early-morning lap swim sessions and evening open-swim hours.

According to management, the renovation is part of an ongoing effort to keep the facility clean, comfortable, and appealing as it continues to serve the Aurora community. Visitors have already highlighted the spacious pool, convenient sauna, and overall cleanliness as standout aspects of the upgraded space.

Located at 30 Shawnee Trail, the Swim Center is part of the Aurora Inn, a well-known landmark in Aurora’s historic district. Hotel guests receive complimentary access to the aquatics center during their stay, while local residents can sign up for memberships through the Inn.

For a limited time, new members who enroll by March 15 can take advantage of discounted membership rates.
