Sagamore Hills Police Report: Fraud, Harassment, and Property Damage

Sagamore Hills officers investigate multiple reports of financial fraud, telecommunications harassment, and damaged property.

SAGAMORE HILLS, Ohio – Between March 12 and March 16, 2026, the Sagamore Hills Police Department responded to several incidents involving telecommunications harassment, property damage, and multiple reports of fraud. These cases, affecting residents on Republic Drive and Shorthorn Drive, highlight the department’s ongoing efforts to document and investigate criminal activity within the community.

Telecommunications Harassment Reported on Republic Drive

On Saturday, March 14, 2026, Sagamore Hills officers took a report regarding telecommunications harassment. The incident reportedly began on Monday, March 09, 2024, and continued through the following Saturday. Ptl. Ryan Shelby met with the victim at a single-family home on Republic Drive at approximately 10:01 AM to document the case. While an additional individual was identified as being involved in the situation, the case was filed for further review.

Multiple Fraud Investigations in Sagamore Hills

The department handled two separate reports of fraud during this period, both involving residents seeking assistance at the police station.

  • Shorthorn Drive Case: On March 14, 2026, residents from Shorthorn Drive reported a fraud incident that allegedly occurred between the afternoon of March 13 and the morning of March 14. Ptl. Ryan Shelby handled the “on station” report, which was assigned incident number 26-00065.

  • Spring Creek Road Case: On Monday, March 16, 2026, a resident of Spring Creek Road arrived at the station on Valley View Road to report a separate instance of fraud. Ptl. Christina Meyers took the report, noting that the fraudulent activity dated back to March 3, 2026.

Property Damage on Greenwood Parkway

Late in the evening on Thursday, March 12, 2026, officers were dispatched to the area of Village Club Drive and Greenwood Parkway. The call, received at 10:21 PM, concerned a damaged sign at that location. Ptl. Terrance Wilson Jr. arrived on the scene at 10:37 PM to investigate the damaged property. The scene was cleared shortly after midnight.
