Stani’s Family Restaurant is located where the former Italian restaurant Molinari’s operated until closing in 2020. The new establishment features a large dining area with a capacity of approximately 150 people, plus a bar and a party room that can accommodate up to 70 guests.
Customer favorites include their omelets and creamy Tuscan pasta, among many other popular menu items. The party room has been in high demand since opening, with Sidorela noting they’re “almost fully booked” for this space.
When deciding to open in Mentor, Sidorela explained that she “did research and decided Mentor should be the right place” because while there are many restaurants in the area, they’re “mostly chains” and she felt “Mentor really needed a mom-and-pop place with food made from scratch.”
According to customer reviews, the “Albanian Benedict” has received particular praise, with one customer noting it was “oh so very good” along with “excellent coffee.”
Since opening in February 2025, they’ve enjoyed strong community support, with Sidorela mentioning that during their grand opening, they “ran out of everything” due to the high customer turnout.
The Stanis will continue to operate both this new Mentor location and their existing Madison Family Restaurant on Hubbard Road, with Sidorela typically present at the Mentor location in the mornings and at Madison in the evenings.
